I photograph artists and dancers because it is how I find deeper connection with each creator and their work. I also love the tactical experience of freezing movement with my camera - be it a dancer undulating in midair or a flash of an emotion shown on a person’s face. I am drawn to seeing the flow of motion through the body, the power of expression through our individual voice, and the emotions that we feel when we witness dance. These fractions of a second are beautiful to watch unfold in the photographs captured in our photoshoot.

Artists inspire me - especially my partner, Ashley Menestrina, whose contemporary dance and choreography explores the depths of the human mind and body.
